Vijay Varma‘s girlfriend, actor Tamannaah Bhatia, expressed admiration for his upcoming film ‘Matka King’ after he shared its poster on social media. Tamannaah reshared Vijay’s post on her Instagram stories, adding fiery emojis to her reaction, to which Vijay affectionately responded with “Baby” on his own Instagram stories.
Speculations about Tamannaah and Vijay’s relationship sparked after a purported kissing video of them circulated online in New Year 2023. Their on-screen chemistry in ‘Lust Stories 2’ further fueled the rumors. Tamannaah confirmed their relationship in a June interview last year, leading to frequent interactions on social media and public appearances together.
Regarding Vijay’s film, the shooting for the series ‘Matka King’ has commenced, as announced on Prime Video’s official social media accounts. A new poster of the show featuring Vijay with a moustache was unveiled. The series, set in 1960s Mumbai, revolves around a cotton trader who introduces a popular gambling game called ‘Matka’, democratizing a once-exclusive pastime.
‘Matka King’ also stars Kritika Kamra, Sai Tamhankar, Gulshan Grover, and Siddharth Jadhav in significant roles.
As for Tamannaah’s upcoming projects, she will be seen in ‘Vedaa’, slated to release on Independence Day, August 15. Directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arrora, ‘Vedaa’ is produced by Zee Studios, Umesh Kr Bansal, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham, and co-produced by Minnakshi Das. Abhishek Bannerjee co-stars alongside Tamannaah Bhatia.
