Film producer Boney Kapoor has discussed moments when he felt ‘resentful’ towards his children – Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor – regarding their ‘relationships’.
In an interview with News18 Showsha, Boney didn’t specify individuals but indicated that he advised his children to manage such matters independently.
Boney touched upon Arjun, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi’s romantic involvements, acknowledging that while he could offer advice, their autonomy and modern upbringing mean they form their own perspectives. He emphasized that unlike in his era, contemporary youths mature faster and shape their own viewpoints.
While Boney confessed to occasional disapproval of certain aspects in his children’s relationships, he asserted his stance of allowing them to handle such issues themselves.
Arjun’s relationship with Malaika Arora, Janhvi’s confirmation of her romance with Shikhar Pahariya on Koffee With Karan, and rumors linking Khushi to Vedang Raina were mentioned. Anshula Kapoor also announced her relationship with screenwriter Rohan Thakkar on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor is preparing for the release of “Maidaan,” featuring Ajay Devgn as the lead. The sports biopic, inspired by Syed Abdul Rahim’s life, narrates the story of the revered coach of India’s national football team. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the film stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh and features a musical score by Oscar winner – AR Rahman. “Maidaan” is scheduled for theatrical release on April 10.
