Expectant mother Deepika Padukone received a heartwarming surprise while on the set of what appears to be the filming location for “Singham 3,” also known as “Singham Again.”
Deepika, who is expecting her first child with Ranveer Singh, continues to work during her pregnancy. She is currently filming for Rohit Shetty’s project, where she portrays the character of the female counterpart to Singham. Recently, she shared a post on her Instagram account, showcasing flowers accompanied by a sweet note addressed to “our hero, lady Singham.”
The gesture received warm responses from fans, with comments expressing admiration for her portrayal as “lady Singham” and eagerly anticipating her performance in the film.
Deepika’s role in the movie is significant, as Rohit Shetty previously announced in 2023 that “Singham Again” would highlight her character as one of the central heroes. He emphasized that the film would delve into her character’s story, akin to the approach taken with previous movies like “Sooryavanshi,” “Singham,” and “Simmba.”
The star-studded cast includes Ajay Devgn in the lead role, along with Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor.
In the midst of her professional commitments, Deepika is also preparing for motherhood with Ranveer. The couple shared the news of their pregnancy in February, accompanied by an adorable poster revealing the expected arrival in September 2024. Married for over five years, Deepika is set to appear alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan in “Kalki 2989 AD.”
