Athiya Shetty has posted a mysterious message on her Instagram account following speculations stirred by her father, actor Suniel Shetty, hinting at her pregnancy with husband KL Rahul.
On Monday, the Bollywood starlet shared a childhood photo of herself, where she appears visibly upset, screaming with her mouth wide open.
Accompanying the picture, Athiya captioned, “Cute but scorpio.” Her brother, Ahan Shetty, swiftly responded to the post, humorously commenting, “This is what I’ve had to deal with for 28 years…” Athiya also shared the image on her Instagram Stories, adding the caption, “Mood.”
Suniel Shetty’s recent remarks sparked rumors about Athiya’s pregnancy. While serving as a judge alongside Madhuri Dixit on the dance reality show Dance Deewane, Suniel hinted at becoming a ‘nana (grandfather).’
During the show, when host Bharti Singh teased him about his future role as a grandfather, Suniel quipped, “Yes, next season when I come (On Dance Deewane), I will be walking on the stage like a nana.”
In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Shetty discussed his relationship with his son-in-law. Suniel revealed, “I train with Ahan (Shetty, son) and Rahul as much to understand their kind of training because it’s absolutely different. Athletes train on a completely different level. We, actors, train to beautify our bodies but they’re trying to take it to the next level. Fielding and batting and its speed has changed completely. Learning from him is my biggest lesson.”
