In Mumbai, Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit graced the runway as the showstopper for renowned designer Ranna Gill during Day 5 of Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI 2024. Dressed in a striking pantsuit adorned with floral accents, Madhuri captivated the audience with her presence and style.

Known for her stunning appearance and impeccable fashion sense, Madhuri stole the spotlight in the dazzling pantsuit while dancing to live saxophone music. Gill described the collection, titled Urban Prairie, as catering to the urban woman who maintains a busy city life while holding onto a connection with nature. Madhuri was hailed as the epitome of this “urban prairie” concept.

Expressing admiration for the outfit, Madhuri praised its wearability, comfort, and modern elegance, emphasizing her love for pantsuits. The collection featured a range of silhouettes including pantsuits, skirts, jumpsuits, and evening dresses, crafted in a palette of white, glacier blue, taupe, sea breeze, and gold using crepe, satin, sequins, and lurex fabrics.

Lakme Fashion Week’s official page showcased the collection, describing it as a fusion of contemporary urban style with the untamed spirit of the prairie, creating a mesmerizing blend of glamour and nature’s hues.

Shifting focus to her recent projects, Madhuri appeared in the Marathi film ‘Panchak’, alongside actors like Addinath Kothare, Dilip Prabhavalkar, and Bharti Achrekar. The film explores themes of seeking common ground amidst turmoil and challenging traditional ideas. Additionally, she starred in ‘Maja Ma’, directed by Anand Tiwari and written by Sumit Batheja, which presents a family-centric narrative set against the backdrop of a vibrant Indian wedding and traditional festival celebrations.
