Shruti Haasan and Santanu Hazarika have reportedly ended their relationship after dating and even living together for a period of time.
The former couple has also unfollowed each other on Instagram. While Shruti hasn’t addressed the split publicly, Santanu declined to comment on the breakup when asked by Bombay Times.
“I am sorry, I don’t wish to comment on it,” Santanu told Bombay Times. However, a source revealed to the publication that the breakup was mutual due to personal differences.
Shruti, who has stayed silent about the split, recently shared a cryptic message on her Instagram, hinting at personal growth. She also deleted posts featuring Santanu.
Shruti and Santanu were often seen together publicly expressing affection for each other. Santanu, known for his doodles and multidisciplinary visual art, has collaborated with various celebrities.
In an earlier interview with News18 Showsha, Santanu discussed the challenges of being in a public relationship and facing online criticism.
Earlier this year, wedding rumors sparked when social media personality Orry referred to Santanu as Shruti’s husband. However, Shruti clarified on her Instagram stories that they are not married.
On the professional front, Shruti Haasan’s latest film was “Salaar,” starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, which was well-received and earned over Rs 700 crore worldwide.
