Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of the documentary “Federer: Twelve Final Days,” which provides an intimate look into the last 12 days of Roger Federer’s illustrious tennis career. Directed by Kapadia and Joe Sabia, the documentary is a Lafcadia Productions project produced by Asif Kapadia and George Chignell, scheduled for release on June 20.
In addition to this project, Varun will showcase his talents in the action thriller “Baby John.” Recently, on Varun’s birthday, the film’s makers delighted fans with a new poster, shared by producer Murad Khetani on Instagram. The poster features Varun Dhawan with long hair, sporting an intense expression while gripping someone’s neck fiercely in the rain. Murad Khetani extended birthday wishes to Varun and teased an “unforgettable cinematic experience” with the upcoming film.
“Baby John,” directed by A Kaleeswaran and presented by Atlee in collaboration with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios, boasts a star-studded cast including Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav. The film’s teaser garnered immense praise from fans. Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, it promises to deliver an engaging storyline.
Looking ahead, Varun Dhawan is set to star in the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood series “Citadel” alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Additionally, he will feature in “Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari,” written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. This ensemble cast film includes Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, supported by Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the movie is scheduled to hit theaters on April 18, 2025.
