Priyanka Chopra’s sibling, Siddharth Chopra, has announced his engagement to South Indian actress Neelam Upadhyaya. The couple took to social media to share snapshots from their engagement ceremony.
Siddharth expressed his emotions with heartfelt photos from the roka ceremony, captioning one post with “sooo we did a thing.”
For the roka ceremony, Siddharth Chopra opted for an ivory-colored ensemble, while Neelam looked radiant in purple attire. Their shared photos exude romance, capturing tender moments between them, including a snapshot with a cake adorned with ‘just rokafied.’
Siddharth also shared these cherished moments with family members, including sister Priyanka Chopra and brother-in-law Nick Jonas. Priyanka extended warm wishes to the couple through her Instagram, posting adorable pictures and expressing congratulations and blessings.
Previously, Siddharth was engaged to Ishita Kumar, with plans for a late April 2019 wedding, which was ultimately called off. Madhu Chopra, Siddharth’s mother, disclosed that the decision to end the engagement was mutual.
Before Ishita, Siddharth’s engagement to ex-girlfriend Kanika Mathur in 2014 also ended without marriage, despite plans for a February 2015 wedding.
