Fans were uncertain about what to anticipate in the amusing new advertisement featuring the stars of “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, which was unveiled on Friday.
In the ad, Ranveer and Alia portray newlyweds preparing to spend their first night together as a married couple.
Ranveer enters the room to find Alia seated on the bed in her bridal attire. He nervously admits it’s his first time, to which Alia responds similarly, reassuring him not to worry. Ranveer emphasizes the importance of the journey over the destination.
They then both pull out their phones to plan their international honeymoon, with Alia searching for Paris honeymoon plans and Ranveer checking out hotels.
Sharing the ad in a joint post with MakeMyTrip, Ranveer captioned it: “First time? Don’t be nervous!”
Fan responses were positive, with one praising their chemistry and another finding the ad cute. There was also mention of a previous advertisement featuring Ranveer alongside adult film star Johnny Sins for a sexual healthcare brand.
Ranveer and Alia have previously starred together in “Gully Boy” and “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” Ranveer’s upcoming project is Rohit Shetty’s cop drama “Singham Again,” while Alia has Vasab Bala’s “Jigra” slated for release later this year.
