Bhushan Kumar, the head of T-Series, responded to speculation surrounding his marriage to Divya Khossla. Earlier this year, Divya’s decision to drop his surname led to divorce rumors.
Despite assurances from both Bhushan and Divya’s teams that their relationship is intact, Bhushan addressed the divorce rumors directly for the first time. In a recent interview, he attributed Divya’s name change to astrological reasons and emphasized that it didn’t signify any marital issues.
Initially hesitant to delve into personal matters during a promotional interview for his film “Srikanth,” Bhushan redirected the focus back to the movie. However, he briefly clarified that the rumors were unfounded, echoing previous statements from both parties.
In February, Divya’s spokesperson explained to News18 Showsha that her decision to alter her name was rooted in personal astrological beliefs, adding an ‘s’ to her maiden surname as a symbolic gesture.
Bhushan and Divya got married in 2005 after meeting on the set of “Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo.” Their love story reportedly began on set, with Bhushan pursuing Divya and eventually winning her over with the support of her mother. While Bhushan has made a name for himself as a producer, Divya has worked as a director before venturing into acting, with her most recent appearance being in “Yaariyan 2,” and her upcoming project being “Savi.”
