Actress Yami Gautam is all set to star in the political drama “Article 370,” scheduled for a theatrical release on February 23, as announced by the producers, Jio Studios & B62 Studios.
The film promises a compelling storyline inspired by true events that played a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of Kashmir. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, Yami Gautam, recognized for her roles in films like “Badlapur,” “Uri: The Surgical Strike,” “Bala,” “A Thursday,” and “Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga,” will portray the character of an intelligence agent.
The movie focuses on countering terrorism in Kashmir by nullifying Article 370. This constitutional provision was revoked by the Central government on August 5, 2019, resulting in the reorganization of the former state of Jammu and Kashmir into union territories. “Article 370” is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar.
