~ Filmfare OTT Awards 2023 honoured the Hindi web original series and films released between August 01, 2022 and July 31, 2023, featuring the best in Hindi OTT entertainment ~ 

National, 27 November 2023: Continuing to uphold the legacy of the Black Lady and recognising the brilliance of the Indian OTT industry, Filmfare, recently hosted the 4th edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards. Honouring the best of the best across the Hindi web original series and films, the glorious event was held on November 26, 2023, at Taj Lands End, Mumbai. The event was graced by some of the finest talents in the OTT space who deservingly took home the coveted Black Lady.

The fourth edition of the awards bestowed honour on some exceptional talents and creative geniuses who have etched their place in the OTT industry with their stellar performances. Among the luminaries who graced the stage were Manoj Bajpayee, honoured with the title of Best Actor, Web Original Film (Male), and Alia Bhatt, whose stellar portrayal earned her the accolade of Best Actor, Web Original Film (Female). Suraj Sharma’s performance in Gulmohar earned him the prestigious Best Supporting Actor in Web Original Film (Male), while Amruta Subhash and Shefali Shah were jointly recognized as Best Supporting Actor, Web Original Film (Female), leaving an enduring impact on the audience. In the drama category, the Best Actor (Male) was bagged by Suvinder Vicky for his outstanding performance in Kohrra whereas Rajshri Deshpande took home the award for Best Actor (Female) for her performance in Trial By Fire. Amongst the web shows, Scoop bagged the prestigious award for Best Series, while TVF Pitchers S2 won the award for Best Comedy. Aporva Singh Karki’s Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai received the award for Best Film, Web Original.

The talents who won the hearts of the audience through their extraordinary performance and artistic brilliance took home the Black Lady, making the fourth edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards an unforgettable celebration of talent and artistry in the OTT industry. This year, the awards set a record with 38+ categories and over 450 entries, showcasing excellence as the focal point for the finest in the industry. The winners were selected with an extensive voting system where audience could log in to filmfare.com and vote for their favorites.

The Critics’ Choice for Best Series was claimed by Trial By Fire, while Randeep Jha for Kohrra Earned the Critics’ Choice for Best Director, Series. In the drama category, Sharmila Tagore and Sanya Malhotra were crowned with the Critics’ Choice for Best Actor in a film (Female), while Rajkummar Rao took home the Critics’ Choice for Best Actor in a film (Male). Shifting to the comedy arena, Maanvi Gagroo sparkled with the Best Actor, Series (Female): Comedy, and Abhishek Banerjee charmed his way to victory for Best Actor (Male), Series Comedy. A celebration of excellence, the awards highlighted the diverse and impressive talent gracing the digital landscape.

The show was hosted by Kubra Sait and Sharib Hashmi, who kept the audience’s eyes glued to the stage with their engaging conversations and humour.

The prestigious event witnessed the presence of outstanding talents from the Indian film industry who graced the red carpet with their presence. The actors in attendance were MAnoj Bajpayee, Vijay Varma, Alia Bhatt, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Amol Parashar, Maanvi Gagroo, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Rasika Dugal, Shaheen Bhatt, Shruti Haasan, Pratik Gandhi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Manushi Chillar, Tillotama Shome, Ayush Mehra, Suvinder Vicky, Rajshri Deshpande, Karishma Tanna, Barun Sobti, amongst others.

Filmfare OTT Awards 2023 was co-powered by Hyundai Motor India, AJIO, and Film Bandhu – Government of Uttar Pradesh, in association with Fura Gems and ITC Fiama. The coveted awards honoured creative, artistic and technical excellence across the Hindi web original shows and films released between August 1, 2022, to July 31, 2023.
