Taapsee Pannu, the Bollywood actress recently making headlines for her clandestine wedding with Mathias Boe, addressed the issue of paparazzi invading her personal space outside of work engagements.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Taapsee expressed her discomfort with paparazzi tactics, highlighting her preference for genuine interaction over intrusive behavior aimed at generating clickbait content.
Taapsee emphasized the importance of mutual respect between celebrities and photographers, condemning instances where her boundaries were disregarded for the sake of sensationalism.
Refusing to conform to societal expectations of passive behavior, Taapsee rejected the notion of being “Lajvanti,” a term for those who feign ignorance or submission to appease others.
Asserting her right to privacy beyond her professional life, Taapsee emphasized that she shouldn’t be expected to entertain paparazzi intrusion into her personal moments.
Shifting focus to her upcoming projects, Taapsee mentioned her role in “Khel Khel Mein” alongside a star-studded cast, scheduled for release in September.
Additionally, Taapsee will feature in “Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba,” a sequel to “Haseen Dilruba,” continuing her collaboration with Vikrant and Sunny Kaushal after the success of the first installment premiered on Netflix in July 2021
