Featuring a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, the film promises an extraordinary cinematic odyssey. Earlier this year, Disha Patani and Prabhas were in Italy for a song sequence shoot, with Disha now sharing glimpses of their trip.
Taking to Instagram, Disha shared a series of photos and videos from her Italy excursion, showcasing moments with Prabhas and behind-the-scenes snapshots. Meanwhile, in March, a popular paparazzi handle shared a photo of Prabhas and Disha, though there’s no official confirmation of their involvement in Kalki 2898 AD.
Director Nag Ashwin revealed the film’s timeline at the Synapse 2024 event, sharing that it begins with Mahabharat and spans 6000 years to 2898 AD, maintaining an Indian essence. Prabhas’ fans eagerly await his role in this unique fusion of the Mahabharat with time travel.
The film, set for a May 8 theatrical release, boasts Santhosh Narayanan as the music director and is produced by C Ashwani Dutt under the prestigious Vyjayanthi Movies banner.
In a grand gesture, the creators announced the release date with simultaneous events in several Pan-India cities, generating buzz and unveiling the film’s release on May 9, 2024.
