Alia Bhatt continues her winning streak, following the immense success of Gangubai Kathiawadi. She’s now gearing up to collaborate once again with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his upcoming project titled Love & War, where she’ll share the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Described as an epic tale, Love & War is set to explore a love triangle amidst the backdrop of a war.
Alia is reportedly set to portray her ‘most complex character’ yet in SLB’s latest venture. According to a Peeping Moon report, she’ll depict a jazz singer in the film, a role that excites her immensely, especially after showcasing her singing talents in previous movies like Highway, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, and Udta Punjab.
Sources reveal that all three main leads, Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky, will tackle intricate roles dealing with emotional upheaval amid challenging circumstances. While specifics about the male leads remain undisclosed, Alia’s portrayal as a jazz artist promises to add depth to the narrative, with her emotionally conflicted character potentially becoming her most intricate role to date.
Love & War is slated for a Christmas 2025 release, with Bhansali aiming to commence filming in November-December of the current year.
