Salman Khan’s Nephew Ayaan Agnihotri on His Uncles: “There’s Always So Much to Learn from Them”
Ayaan Agnihotri, son of Alvira and Atul Agnihotri, recently shared insights into his uncles Salman, Arbaaz, and Sohail Khan, highlighting their influence on his life.
In an interview with *India Today Digital*, Ayaan, who goes by the stage name Agni, described Salman Khan as loving, funny, yet firm when necessary. He explained that Salman maintains a balance between affection and discipline, ensuring that family members do not take success for granted. According to Ayaan, Salman has always emphasized that hard work doesn’t guarantee success and that entitlement should be avoided. Instead, he encourages them to pursue what makes them happy, regardless of the outcome.
Ayaan also revealed that Salman doesn’t give formal motivational speeches but naturally shares his experiences during family gatherings, such as lunches, dinners, or time spent at their Panvel farmhouse. He said Salman often reflects on life, offering valuable lessons, and advises them to always be kind—even to those who treat them poorly.
Speaking about Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, Ayaan described Sohail as a second father figure who is always available for advice and support. He shared how Sohail is approachable and willing to help whenever possible. Similarly, Arbaaz has been supportive of Ayaan’s singing aspirations. Recalling a family moment, he mentioned how their grandfather, Salim Khan, initially suggested he pursue cricket, but Arbaaz pointed out that his true talent lay in singing, ultimately encouraging him to follow his passion.
