The Ambanis threw a grand three-day pre-wedding celebration for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, beginning the festivities with Anna Seva on February 28, feeding about 51,000 villagers in Jogwad.
The celebration drew more than 1200 international guests, including celebrities, politicians, and business magnates. The event, running from March 1 to March 3, saw notable attendees such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, Ivanka Trump, and Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, with over 2500 dishes served across the events.
The first day, dubbed An Evening In Everland, featured a mesmerizing drone show depicting animals in the sky, introducing Vantara, the Ambanis’ new animal rescue centre. This was complemented by a performance from pop star Rihanna, making her India debut, followed by an after-party that was widely shared on social media.
The second day included two main events: a morning “Walk On The Wildside” tour of Vantara for the guests, who were asked to wear jungle-themed attire, and an evening sangeet called Mela Rogue. Social media buzzed with photos of celebrities dressed in theme for the day’s events.
