Triptii Dimri gained widespread recognition following the release of *Animal*, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, last year. She is currently enjoying success with upcoming projects such as *Dhadak 2*, *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3*, and *Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video*.

Despite her success, some in her community warned her parents that pursuing an acting career would make her undesirable for marriage.

In an interview on Katrina Kaif’s Kay Beauty YouTube channel, Triptii shared her background, stating, “I’m from Uttarakhand but grew up in Delhi, where my family still lives. Moving to Mumbai was challenging; facing 50-60 people daily was tough, especially with mean comments from society and family.”

She recalled hearing discouraging remarks such as, “Why have you sent your daughter into this field? She’ll get spoiled, associate with the wrong people, make poor choices, and no one will want to marry her.”

Triptii admitted that there were times she felt confused and lost hope when work was scarce, but she was determined not to return to her parents with a sense of failure.

After *Animal*’s release, she earned nicknames like ‘National Crush’ and ‘Bhabhi 2’ from fans. When asked if these titles bothered her at a press event, she expressed gratitude for the love she received, stating that her work has always been appreciated.

She emphasized that her goal upon entering the industry was for people to focus on her performances rather than anything else. Triptii noted that the positive reception of her films has motivated her to improve her craft, feeling fortunate for the recognition she has garnered.
