Karan Sharma, known for his role in Sasural Simar Ka 2, recently announced his engagement to actress Pooja Singh, with plans to tie the knot by the end of this month.
Previously married to singer Tia Kar, Karan Sharma ended their three-year marriage. Speculation arose after a cryptic post by Tia following Karan’s engagement. However, Tia clarified that she has moved on from her past relationship, dismissing any connection to Karan’s impending wedding.
In an Instagram story, Tia Kar shared a popular dialogue from Tanu Weds Manu Returns, which she attributed to being a fan of Kangana Ranaut rather than a reference to her ex-husband. She emphasized her focus on personal growth and stated she was unaware of Karan’s marriage plans but expressed happiness for him.
Karan Sharma and Pooja Singh are set to marry on March 30, confirmed by Karan himself. They have known each other for three months and plan to follow north Indian wedding traditions with lively dance and music. Haldi and mehendi rituals are scheduled for March 29, with industry friends expected to attend the wedding, which initially was intended to be intimate but has grown due to Mumbai’s social dynamics.
Pooja Singh, who met Karan through a mutual acquaintance, has worked on various projects, while Karan Sharma is recognized for his roles in several television series.
