Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan surprised their fans with their official divorce in 2014, ending their marriage of over 13 years. The reasons for their separation remained undisclosed for years, with both opting to maintain silence while co-parenting their two sons.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Zarine Khan, Sussanne’s mother, opened up about her daughter’s romantic life.
“Sussanne has been in a relationship with actor Arslan Goni, brother of TV actor Aly Goni, for several years now. Meanwhile, Hrithik is currently dating actor Saba Azad. Speaking about Sussanne and Arslan, Zarine said, “Arslan has a law background and comes from a well-respected political family in Jammu. He also has an interest in acting, and I wish him the best for that. His family is very nice, and I’m happy that Sussanne and Arslan are happy together.”
When asked about any potential wedding plans for Sussanne and Arslan, Zarine mentioned that they are both focused on their careers at the moment. She stated, “If you find happiness with someone today, you’re fortunate. We don’t know what the future holds. Today, life is what you make of it… The old belief that marriage is necessary for happiness and stability is no longer true. Women are independent, established in their careers, and want to make their own decisions. Marriage is a bond that doesn’t always ensure lifelong togetherness. So, I’m pleased to see Sussanne and Arslan happy together and concentrating on their careers.”
Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan tied the knot in December 2000 and have two sons together – Hrehaan, born in 2006, and Hridhaan, born in 2008.
