In an interview with Friday Talkies, Suneel Darshan discussed issues that arose during the filming of *Barsaat*, which featured Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra in leading roles. He mentioned that just five days before shooting was to begin, Akshay reached out to him for a meeting.
During their meeting, Akshay informed Suneel that he had to withdraw from the film due to a “blunder.” Suneel further stated that Twinkle left their home because of the online rumors about Akshay and Priyanka. He emphasized the importance of responsibility for actors, noting that Twinkle, being an actress herself, understands the industry’s dynamics.
Suneel clarified that he does not blame Priyanka for the situation. Following his revelations, Reddit users expressed their thoughts, with one commenting that Twinkle was reportedly so furious she intended to confront Priyanka on set, but Priyanka was absent.
