Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha celebrated her first Karva Chauth with her husband Zaheer Iqbal on Sunday, charming fans by sharing fun moments from the festivities.
Earlier in the day, she posted stunning photos of herself in a bridal red outfit, followed by a lighthearted reel where she humorously conveyed her hunger while observing the traditional fast.
In the Instagram video, Sonakshi is seen in a light pink embroidered outfit, adorned with a traditional floral gajra in her hair. Zaheer, dressed in a mustard yellow top, is next to her, absorbed in his phone. The clip starts with Sonakshi playfully placing the gajra on her head and affectionately calling Zaheer “Jaan.” When he looks up, he asks, “What are you doing yaar?” She replies, “I am very hungry. I don’t know what to do,” prompting laughter between them.
The *Heeramandi* actress then asked Zaheer if he was hungry as well, to which he responded, “Very.” Sonakshi playfully followed up with, “Why are you hungry?” Zaheer replied, “Because same.”
Sonakshi teased him, saying, “Because I kept Karwa Chauth. Why did you keep Karwa Chauth?” In a sweet moment, Zaheer replied, “Because if I had eaten in front of you, you would have killed me.” Their playful exchange ended with Sonakshi teasing Zaheer, resulting in more laughter. She captioned the post, “Find a pati who won’t let you starve alone… whatever his reason may be. Happy Karwa Chauth… our first.”
