Sobhita Dhulipala, who recently got engaged to Naga Chaitanya, is reportedly being considered for an item song in the upcoming film *Don 3*, which stars Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani, according to a source.
The source mentioned to Zee News that Sobhita, known for her versatility, is looking to take on a new challenge, and *Don 3* may be the perfect opportunity for her. Given her charisma and presence, she is expected to be a great addition to the film. Farhan Akhtar, who is keen on having Sobhita for the item song, believes she will excel in the role.
Discussions are ongoing, and while no final decision has been made yet, Sobhita has had several meetings with Farhan and the team, the source added.
*Don 3*, starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani, is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, and is scheduled for release in 2025.
In an interview on Raj Shamani’s podcast, director Farhan Akhtar explained why Ranveer Singh was chosen for *Don 3*. He mentioned, “The script we are developing requires a next-generation actor, and Ranveer fits that description perfectly.”
Farhan further noted, “Ranveer is energetic and mischievous, qualities that align well with the film’s needs. I believe this role will challenge him in new ways, requiring a depth of performance he hasn’t yet explored. This role will allow him to showcase a different side of his acting abilities.”
