Samantha Ruth Prabhu is undeniably one of the leading figures in the entertainment industry, having established herself through her notable work.
In a past interview with Filmfare, Samantha opened up about her emotional state following her divorce from her former husband, Naga Chaitanya.
In the interview, the actress discussed how she initially struggled with the thought of dying after the divorce but eventually felt proud of her ability to overcome it. She explained that acknowledging and accepting one’s emotions can resolve much of the pain.
Samantha elaborated on how recognizing and accepting emotions is a turning point where one becomes aware of their own strength and realizes the necessity of moving forward in life despite its challenges.
She shared, “I knew I would continue living my life, but I was surprised by my own strength. I had expected to break down after the separation, thinking I was too weak. I never imagined I could be this strong. Today, I’m incredibly proud of my resilience because I didn’t know I had it in me.”
For context, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were previously married. After dating for several years, they tied the knot in 2017. However, their marriage ended in 2021 with their separation and divorce after four years together.
As of 2024, Naga Chaitanya is preparing to marry actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024. Their relationship, which had been the subject of rumors, was confirmed with their engagement in August of that year.
With the wedding day approaching, the couple has already begun their celebrations. Sobhita recently shared that she had participated in the Pelli Kuthuru ceremony. The wedding will take place at Annapurna Studios, a location built by Chaitanya’s late grandfather, the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Meanwhile, Samantha, who was last seen in the web series Citadel: Honey Bunny alongside Varun Dhawan, is currently working on a new project titled Rakt Bramand with Aditya Roy Kapur.
