Priyanka Chopra joined the festivities at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, showcasing her dance moves during the baraat procession.
Videos circulating on social media captured Priyanka dancing energetically to the Bollywood hit ‘Sapne Mein Milti Hai,’ embellishing her performance with traditional thumkas.
Ranveer Singh added to the Bollywood flair by encouraging Priyanka’s husband, Nick Jonas, to join in the dance. The couple turned heads with their stylish attire reminiscent of Barbie and Ken dolls.
Priyanka dazzled in a mustard-gold lehenga featuring a strappy blouse and deep neckline, complemented by dewy makeup and loose hair. Nick looked sharp in an embellished pastel sherwani.
The duo happily posed for photographers outside the venue, with Nick even sharing a video of them listening to ‘Barbie Girl’ en route to the wedding.
During the baraat, groom Anant Ambani danced enthusiastically alongside superstar Rajnikanth to the song ‘Gallan Goodiyan’ from the film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do.’ Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor, also from the movie, joined in the dance.
Sanjay Dutt also caught attention with his dance moves at the celebration.
The star-studded guest list at Mumbai’s Jio World Drive venue included John Cena, AR Rahman, Anil Kapoor, and various members of the Kapoor family, among others, all of whom posed for photographers.
American influencer Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian arrived in India just before the wedding, marking Kim’s first visit to the country. Former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson also attended the event.
The wedding, themed ‘An Ode to Varanasi,’ celebrates Indian culture with a focus on spirituality, folk art, craftsmanship, music, and cuisine. The decor pays homage to the traditions and heritage of Varanasi, featuring stalls offering Banarasi street food like chaat, mithai, lassi, and chai.
The festivities continue with ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13 and conclude with the Mangal Utsav wedding reception on July 14, promising three days of joyous celebration for the Ambani and Merchant families.
