“I went out with a few friends, and one of them was also friends with Hardik. When he walked in, he was wearing a hat, a shawl, and some flashy accessories. I had never seen anyone like him in India, and I thought, ‘What is this? Who is this?’ When you’re meeting someone for the first time, I went for a handshake, but he came in for a hug. I didn’t know his name, nothing, but he was very friendly. That’s how we first met.”
