Mumbai Bakery Creates Extravagant Wildlife-Themed Cake for Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s 40th Anniversary.
A luxury pâtisserie in Mumbai has unveiled a specially crafted cake to mark the 40th wedding anniversary of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife, Nita Ambani.
Bunty Mahajan, the owner of the high-end bakery Deliciae, showcased the elaborate Vantara-themed creation in an Instagram video. The towering gold and pink six-tier cake was adorned with intricate animal figurines, including lions, giraffes, and crocodiles, along with golden zebra and tiger stripes. At the top, golden leaves and elephants held up a sign reading, *”Happy Anniversary, Dear Nita and Mukesh.”* The middle tier prominently featured embossed initials “N” and “M.”
Mahajan revealed that the cake, weighing over 30 kg, was designed to reflect *Vantara*, Reliance’s wildlife conservation center in Jamnagar. Initially planning an all-white and gold design, she incorporated pink as it is Nita Ambani’s favorite color. Despite the complexity of the project, the Ambanis appreciated her creation.
Mukesh and Nita Ambani, who married on March 8, 1985, are among India’s most influential figures. Mukesh Ambani is the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries and the richest man in Asia. Nita Ambani leads the Reliance Foundation and Dhirubhai Ambani International School and launched the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai in 2023.
