Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest project, *The Buckingham Murders*, is generating significant buzz. As a female-led crime thriller, the film has garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences.

The actress, celebrated for her outstanding performance, is thrilled with the film’s reception. During a recent event hosted by PVR to honor her contributions to cinema, Kareena expressed the importance of choosing a film like *The Buckingham Murders* as she marks 25 years in the industry. She described the film as bold and noted that it is making headlines in entertainment news. Kareena emphasized the commitment to authenticity, explaining that since the film is set in a small English town, it was crucial not to have characters speaking in Hindi. “It’s about local people living there. So we decided to create a film in Hindi, English, and Hinglish, sticking to its truest form,” she said. Reflecting on her career, Kareena mentioned that if she didn’t take the opportunity to experiment after 25 years, she might never have the chance. She recalled taking similar bold steps early in her career with films like *Chameli* and *Dev*.

*The Buckingham Murders* features a strong ensemble cast, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film is written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker. It is produced by Balaji Telefilms, with Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan as the first-time producer.
