The long-standing feud between Govinda and his ‘bhanja’ (nephew) Krushna Abhishek has finally come to an end. The two actors recently reconciled and shared a hug on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show, putting their differences behind them.
Following the reconciliation, Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, shared that the family dynamics have improved, with relationships now being “good” and “respectful.” However, she admitted that things were “toxic” in the past.
Tina Ahuja revealed, “It is kind of toxic. I will not lie, and I have said this to Arti (Singh) as well. I always tried to keep myself away from it. To be very honest, I am very happy in my life. I don’t talk about such things. I think it’s all in the past now, and I don’t want to revisit it. Things are now good, decent, and respectful,” Tina told Bollywood Bubble.
For those unaware, Krushna Abhishek and Govinda had not spoken to each other for seven years. Krushna had also skipped several Kapil Sharma Show episodes when Govinda and his wife, Sunita, were guests. The two finally came together earlier this year at the wedding of Krushna’s sister, Aarti Singh. However, Sunita was absent from the wedding and has not yet commented on their reconciliation.
When Govinda appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show recently, he was seen hugging Krushna and getting emotional as they resolved their differences. The two also danced together, signaling the end of their feud. During the episode, Govinda also shared the story behind their fallout.
Govinda recalled, “It’s funny that the person because of whom we fought, now I’ll tell the truth… One day, I was very upset with him. I asked, ‘What are these dialogues they make him write?’ My wife, Sunita, told me, ‘The whole industry does this. Don’t say anything to Krushna. He’s earning and doing his job. Don’t stop anyone or do anything wrong.’ So, I would like to say to her, ‘You should apologize to her, she loves you.'”
