Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, two of the biggest stars in Hindi cinema, have always had great chemistry when together. Their playful interactions as Sunny and Sameer in *Mujhse Shaadi Karogi* are still fondly remembered. Fans were expecting another reunion when Akshay came to promote his upcoming film *Sky Force* on the sets of *Bigg Boss 18*, accompanied by debutant Veer Pahariya.
However, the much-anticipated reunion between Akshay and Salman never took place.
Akshay and Veer arrived at the *Bigg Boss 18* grand finale to promote *Sky Force*. They were expected to engage in some fun interactions with the host, and fans were looking forward to seeing Akshay and Salman together again. But an insider explained why the reunion did not happen.
According to the source, Akshay, known for his punctuality, arrived at the set at the scheduled time, around 2:15 pm. However, Salman had not arrived yet. Akshay waited for an hour, but Salman was busy with a trial screening of *Jolly LLB 3*. After waiting for a while, Akshay left without shooting for the show, despite several attempts to convince him to stay.
The source further shared that Akshay and Salman eventually spoke, and Akshay explained that he had to leave due to a prior commitment. Salman expressed his hope to have Akshay on the show at a later time. Meanwhile, *Bigg Boss 18* was concluding its grand finale with contestants like Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, Karanveer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Chum Darang competing for the winner’s trophy.
