Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya, once considered one of India’s most adored celebrity couples, had faced persistent divorce rumors before officially parting ways in 2021. After their separation, they hadn’t been seen together until recently when they both appeared at the same event, solely for professional commitments.

Both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya attended the event to announce their upcoming projects for Amazon Prime Video. Samantha will star in the web series “Citadel: Honey Bunny” alongside Varun Dhawan, directed by Raj and DK, known for “Family Man.” This series is the Indian adaptation of the original “Citadel,” which premiered last year featuring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya was also present to celebrate the success of his hit web series “Dhootha,” rumored to return for a second season after its massive popularity on the OTT platform.

Their joint appearance at the Amazon Prime event marked a special moment as they promoted their individual shows, reuniting after years. Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for his next film, “Thandel,” directed by Chandoo Moleti, starring opposite Sai Pallavi. The film is rumored to be based on real events from Srikakulam, with Naga Chaitanya putting in significant effort to embody his character.

Although “Dhootha 2” hasn’t been officially confirmed, the success of the first season thrilled audiences as Naga Chaitanya delved into a captivating world of supernatural terror.
