Since her last Bollywood film “The Sky is Pink” in 2019, Priyanka Chopra hasn’t appeared in any other Bollywood projects. While the Farhan Akhtar film “Jee Le Zaraa” was supposed to mark her comeback, it seems the movie has been postponed.
Meera Chopra recently disclosed that she doesn’t share a close bond with her cousins Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra, stating, “help never came from them.”
However, there’s speculation that Priyanka Chopra might reunite with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for an upcoming project after nearly a decade since their collaboration on “Bajirao Mastani.” Reportedly, they are in talks for an action film set in a different period, with Priyanka keen to finalize her next Hindi project soon.
During her recent visit to India, Priyanka focused primarily on work, attending events in Mumbai and holding numerous meetings for her production house. She is also in the process of finalizing projects under her banner.
Neither Bhansali nor Priyanka has responded to these reports yet.
Meanwhile, Bhansali’s upcoming project “Heeramandi,” an OTT series, features an ensemble cast including Sharmin Segal, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sonakshi Sinha, and Manisha Koirala. On the other hand, Priyanka is busy with projects like “Heads of State” and “The Bluff” by the Russo Brothers.
