Actor and filmmaker Sonu Sood’s wife, Sonali, is currently receiving medical treatment after sustaining injuries in a road accident on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway.
A day after the incident, Sonu Sood expressed his gratitude on social media for the overwhelming support from fans and well-wishers, mentioning that his wife and the two other family members involved are recovering well.

On X (formerly Twitter), Sonu Sood wrote, “Dua mein badi takat hoti hai and we have felt it once again. Thank you so much for all the prayers and heartfelt messages. We truly appreciate your support. Sonali and the other two family members are recovering well. Details of the Nagpur Highway Incident
Sonali and her two relatives were injured when their car collided with a truck from behind on the Wardha Road Viaduct bridge near Sonegaon in Nagpur. The accident occurred around 10 pm on Monday while they were traveling from Nagpur airport to Byramji Town. All three were taken to a private hospital for treatment.
Reports indicate that the Sonegaon Police have made a police station diary entry based on Medico-Legal Case (MLC) information but have not registered a formal case due to the lack of a complainant. According to officials, Sonali had arrived in Nagpur from Kolkata and was picked up by her relatives, Sunita and Siddharth. The accident happened when their car, following another vehicle, rear-ended a slow-moving truck driven by Siddharth. Fortunately, the airbags deployed, mitigating any severe injuries. The trio was promptly treated at a private hospital in Mankapur and are reported to be in stable condition.

A bulletin from Max Hospital in Nagpur stated, “Mrs. Sonali Sood, her sister, and nephew were brought to the Emergency Department at approximately 10:30 pm last night after being involved in a road traffic accident. All three were conscious upon arrival with stable vital signs, having sustained multiple abrasions and bruises. They were evaluated for internal injuries, which were not found. The nephew was discharged after receiving first aid, while Mrs. Sonali Sood and her sister remain under observation and are recovering well with stable conditions.”
