The divorce of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and actor-choreographer Dhanashree Verma has been a major topic of discussion on social media, with speculation surrounding the alimony amount. Initially rumored to be ₹60 crore, recent reports by *Bar and Bench* confirm that Chahal will pay ₹4.75 crore, of which ₹2.37 crore has already been settled.

On Wednesday, the Bombay High Court granted Chahal and Dhanashree’s request to waive the mandatory six-month cooling-off period. Justice Madhav Jamdar directed the family court to finalize the divorce by Thursday, considering Chahal’s IPL commitments with Punjab Kings. The decision came after the court noted that the couple had been living separately for over two and a half years and had mutually agreed on the alimony terms.

Chahal and Dhanashree were married in December 2020 but parted ways in June 2022. They filed for divorce on February 5, initially requesting an exemption from the cooling-off period, which was denied due to the incomplete alimony payment at the time.

Meanwhile, Chahal was recently seen in Dubai watching the ICC Champions Trophy final between India and New Zealand with RJ Mahvash, sparking dating rumors after she shared pictures with him on social media.
