The wedding of Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya has been the center of attention in the entertainment industry recently. The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony held at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad yesterday.

They tied the knot following traditional Telugu customs, blending tradition and sophistication to create a magical celebration. The wedding took place at Annapurna Studios, a 22-acre family-owned property in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Known as a significant site for Tollywood productions, it has hosted over 60 feature films and is one of the largest film production studios in India. The studio was founded by Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather, actor-producer Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and named after his grandmother Annapurna. The couple chose this location due to their strong emotional connection to it.

During the celebrations, Samantha Ruth Prabhu posted a cryptic message on her Instagram story. She shared a video originally posted by Hollywood star Viola Davis, which was captioned, “Not fragile like a flower, fragile like a BOMB.” The video shows a wrestling match where a boy mistreats the girl, but despite initially being at a disadvantage, the girl wins. Samantha shared this with the hashtag #fightlikeagirl, posting it on the same day as Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita’s wedding.

Samantha also shared an update from IMDb India, where she was ranked as the 8th most popular star of the year. Interestingly, Sobhita Dhulipala also made the list, placing 5th. To provide some context, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya were married in 2017 and announced their separation in 2021.

Naga Chaitanya’s father, the renowned actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, shared photographs of the newlyweds and extended a warm welcome to Sobhita Dhulipala as the newest member of the family.

On the professional front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently enjoying the success of the Prime Video spy-thriller Citadel: Honey-Bunny. This global series, a collaboration between the Russo Brothers and Raj and DK, starred Priyanka Chopra, and an Italian version titled Citadel: Diana was later produced. Samantha is also working on her Telugu film Maa Inti Bangaram and the Hindi series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom. Sobhita Dhulipala was last seen in Love, Sitara. Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming project is the much-anticipated film Thandel, where he will star alongside Sai Pallavi.
