Avika Gor, preparing for her upcoming film Bloody Ishq, recently discussed her romantic life. She revealed that her boyfriend Milind Chandwani had initially placed her in the friend zone for six months, advising her to concentrate on her career.
The actress confessed that Milind confessed his feelings for her after six months of friendship. Avika also expressed her certainty about him, admitting she already considers herself married to him in her thoughts. She praised her boyfriend’s maturity, quoting him saying, “You’re still 26 and I am 32. Take your time to focus on your work and experience life.”
During a conversation on Harsh Limbachia and Bharti Singh’s podcast, Avika described Milind as a corporate professional working 9-5 and managing an NGO, emphasizing that he is not from the entertainment industry. They met through a mutual acquaintance in Hyderabad. Avika admitted she had developed feelings for him from the beginning but initially agreed to stay friends. She humorously remarked on her initial ego about staying just friends but soon became sure about their relationship.
Avika recalled, “I had actually proposed to him six months ago. He is very intelligent. After six months, he told me, ‘Okay, I love you, too!’ So I asked him, ‘What was with the drama for 6 months?’ He explained that he didn’t want to rush things and wanted to ensure they genuinely liked each other as friends before progressing further. I would have married him four years ago if it were up to me. There was no need to think. I am mentally married to him already.”
Regarding her film Bloody Ishq, directed by Vikram Bhatt and Manish P Chavan, Avika shared the cast details including Vardhaan Puri, Jeniffer Piccinato, Shyam Kishore, and Manmeet Singh Sawhney. The horror movie is set to release on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 26th.
